Really important guidance in raising Toddlers from a real mom!
By Mira Jacob
I am a parenting editor and a mom. This means that all day, every day, I read about how to raise better children, and then go home and mess with my own. You know, it's all fun and games until the therapy bill arrives! In full acknowledgment of how little my advice will help any parent out there, I've decided to stick to letting the wonderful experts on this site tell you what to do, and give you this handy picture guide on what to DON'T:

Why did you bite that boy? Why did you hit your sister? Why is there spaghetti in your ear? Why am I asking you a question you can't possibly answer in any way that will make me feel better? Oh yes, because it's easier than accepting the idea that I am in charge of a tiny lunatic.

This is so cool for all of those precious kids out there that are fighting & winning against Cancer!!!
Wow! What a neat idea for all of those children out there and their families fighting childhood Cancer!!! Just think about all of the children especially little girls that have lost their hair- to have a Barbie that is so beautiful without that long, full head of hair- they won't feel so different or ugly or worried about what others will think and how they will treat them. They will see their own beauty radiating in their reflection, which will in turn create a positive energy vibe to heal them and help ease their suffering and fear!!! O:)

Should we let babies cry it out or not?
Babies cry for a reason folks and until you are truly plugged into your baby's personality and habits and go through your checklist of hunger, wet or soiled diapers, colic issues as gas builds, teething discomfort, are they in danger of blankets clothing or stuffed animals being too close or numerous, are they afraid in the dark, is it too quiet or too loud, fever or not, too warm or too cold, etc. that is the way we learn--- those cries are communication!!! (Babble.com today is hosting a poll amongst parents which is garnering a wide response from parents everywhere and is fascinating--- go check iit out!)

A really cute and neat blog for all you mommies out there! O:) This is what being a mommy to a child should be all about but especially little girl and big girls too--- positive parenting learning that these gifts from God are not ours to show off in competition of our mothering skills but to learn to respect, admire, treasure our girls and teach them to do the same to us and others as that will teach them love and self respect and kindness and compassion for our fellow man not the unfortunate brattiness and selfishness of the mean little girls that think they rise to the top of the food chain amongst their peers due to looks, clothing, possessions, or their family's money and success!!! Think all you moms out there and tell your children how amazing they are and blessed and honored you feel you are to know these gifts from the heavens as we are only entrusted with them until they are ready to fly on their own from our nests!O:)
